Earn over 75,000 Miles with Targeted United Card Offer!

Last week I received a targeted e-mail offer for the Chase United Explorer card offering me a 70,000 mile bonus after spending $3,000 in 3 months on the card. After clicking on the link for more info, I also found that I could earn an additional 5,000 miles just by adding an authorized user who makes a purchase within the first 3 months.

It looks like many United Mileage Plus members are getting this same offer. Normally, the sign up bonus on this card is 30,000 miles and I have seen it go as high as 50,000 miles. 75,000 miles is a terrific deal for the same amount of required spend!

The card also has other benefits:

  • Free Checked Bag
  • Priority United Boarding
  • No Foreign Transaction Fees
  • 2 United Club Passes per year
  • 10,000 bonus miles per year when you spend $25,000 in Net purchases

Note that the $95 annual fee is not waived for the first year on this offer.

Check your e-mail to see if you were targeted for this excellent offer. The sender should be “MileagePlus Partner.” Even if you didn’t get an e-mail for this offer, according to Mile Value  you can log into your United account and click this link which should bring up your offer.

United miles are worth around 1.5 cents each–so this 75,000 point bonus is easily worth $1,125–and could be worth much, much more depending on how you redeem your miles.

I have used United Miles to redeem for: First Class from Cambodia to Beijing to Washington, DC; Inter-European business class from Milan to Prague, flights from Japan to NYC, Trans-Continental from NYC to SFO in BusinessFirst, and more. United is a Star Alliance partner, so these miles are very flexible and can be used to book any Star Alliance flight!

This offer expires June 30th according to the email, so hurry if you are interested!

Did you get targeted via e-mail? Are you planning on applying and taking advantage of this great deal?!?!
